Method 1. How to convert XPS to PDF on Mac with software

Первый вариант чем открыть расширение XPS — архиватор: WinZip, WinRAR или 7zip. Если изменить расширение с .xps на .zip, то программа позволит просмотреть содержимое файла. Но такой способ скорее экстренный, когда других вариантов чем открыть формат xps нет. Еще один вариант для просмотра содержимого архива с расширением XPS — скачать Mozilla Firefox, установить плагин для работы с файлами такого формата — Pagemark XpsPlugin. A simple way to convert XPS files is using a virtual printer instead of using a converter to PDF. If you don’t have any virtual printer installed yet, try using Universal Document Converter. Method 3. How to use Google Drive to convert XPS to PDF on Mac

An online article talks about the possibility of converting XPS to PDF with the help of a web browser such as Google Chrome and Google Docs. I tested both on my iMac. They didn’t work for me. When I opened an XPS file with Chrome, the browser just downloaded the file instead of opening the document and letting me convert it. Google Drive, which encompasses Google Docs (and a few other web-based apps), did allow me to upload and preview XPS, but Google Docs didn’t even support opening an XPS or OXPS file. Nevertheless, it’s still possible to use Google Drive to convert XPS/OXPS to PDF on Mac.

1. In your browser, sign in to Google.
2. Go to Google Drive.
3. Upload the XPS or OXPS file to your Google Drive.
4. Double-click the document, and now you can preview it.
5. Click the print icon in the top right corner, which will take you to a new tab.
6. There is also a print icon in the page opened in the new tab. Click the icon.
7. Now you should find the Save as PDF option. Choose to save all or selected pages of your XPS or OXPS document to PDF format.
8. Click Save.
9. In the dialog box that appears, click Save.

This method is a little bit complicated, but it does work.
